Here's a simple roast chicken leg recipe for you:

 


Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken legs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, or oregano)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, dried herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.

  3. Place the chicken legs in a baking dish or a shallow oven-proof pan. Pour the marinade over the chicken legs and use your hands to rub it all over, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  4. Let the chicken legs marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

  5. Once marinated, place the baking dish in the preheated oven and roast for about 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken legs are golden brown and cooked through. To ensure they are fully cooked, you can use a meat thermometer to check if the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C).

  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken legs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute and ensures a moist and tender result.

  7. Serve the roast chicken legs with your choice of sides like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
